Anyone can make stories and characters on Lorica. If something here copies your work without permission, tell us and we will take it down.
Our own stories and characters
Everything published by the official Lorica account is original: our own characters, names, worlds and words, written in popular genres and tropes that nobody owns, like enemies to lovers or a magic academy. We do not publish characters or worlds that belong to someone else.
Report a copyright problem
Use the Report button on the story and pick "Stolen from someone", or email ben@insoola.org with:
- who you are and how to reach you, and that you own the work or act for the owner;
- the work you say was copied;
- the link to the page on Lorica;
- a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not allowed by you, your agent or the law;
- a statement that what you send is accurate, and your name as a signature.
A person reviews every notice, usually within two business days. If it is valid, we remove the content and tell its creator why.
If your story was removed
If you think we removed your story by mistake (for example it is your own original work, or you have permission), reply to the removal reason by email with your explanation and contact details. We look again, and may restore it unless the person who complained takes legal action.
Repeat problems
We suspend accounts that copy other people's work again and again.
