Terms

Last updated October 7, 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Insoola Information Technology Solutions ("we") for using Lorica. They are long because they are complete. The short version comes first.

The short version

1. Who can use Lorica

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of adulthood where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you. Lorica is made for everyone 13 and older.

You may not use Lorica if the law where you live forbids it, or if we suspended your account before.

2. Your account

When you first play, we make a guest account on your device so you can start at once. If you sign in with Google, you can use your account on any device, publish stories and buy things. Keep your Google account safe. You are responsible for what happens on your account. One account per person.

You can download everything you made, or delete your account and all of it, at any time on the Me page.

3. Your stories and characters

You own the stories, characters, pictures and text you make on Lorica ("your content"). To run the site, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, copy, show, adapt for different screens, and share your content on Lorica, in our search results and previews, and in links people share. This license ends when you delete the content, except for copies other players already remixed (see below) and backups that expire on their own.

When you publish, other players can play your story and make a remix (their own copy to change). A remix starts as a copy named "Remix of" your story's title. If you do not want remixes, keep the story unpublished.

You promise that you have the right to everything you upload or write, and that it does not copy someone else's characters, worlds, pictures or words without permission. Pictures you make with AI tools on Lorica are yours to use, as far as the AI maker's terms allow.

4. The rules

The content rules on the Safety page are part of these terms. In short: in every mode, nobody under 18 or described as childlike, no real people, no non-consent, no incest, no bestiality, no hate against protected groups, and no instructions for real-world harm. You also may not:

Copyright problems are handled as described on the Copyright page.

5. The AI

Lorica writes stories and character replies with AI models from other companies, which you can choose by name. AI output can be wrong, strange, repetitive or upsetting. It is fiction. Characters are not real people, and nothing they say is medical, legal, financial or other professional advice. Do not rely on it for real decisions.

If a message mentions suicide or self-harm, the story pauses before any AI sees it, and we show free help. If you are in danger, contact local emergency services.

The AI never writes your actions for you. You decide what you do. You are responsible for what you type.

6. Reports, removals and suspensions

Anyone can report a story. A person reviews every report. We may remove content, limit it, or suspend an account that breaks these terms or the law. When we remove something, we tell the creator why. You can appeal by writing to us (section 15); a person who did not make the first decision will look again. In serious cases (for example anything sexual involving minors, or real-world threats), we act at once and may report it to the authorities.

7. Free turns, plans and credits

Free. Everyone gets 20 free turns a day; they come back at midnight UTC. There are no ads inside stories. Some AI models cost more than one turn a reply; each one shows its price before you pick it.

Plans. Lorica Plus costs $7.99 a month and Lorica Pro costs $24.99 a month, plus any tax added at checkout. A plan starts when you pay and renews every month, charging the same payment method, until you cancel. You can cancel any time on the Me page; the plan then stays on until the end of the month you paid for, and does not renew. We tell you before any price change, and a new price only applies from your next renewal.

Credits. Credits pay for costly AI work such as animating a picture. Each such action shows its price in credits before you tap. Credits are a license to use Lorica features, not money: they have no cash value, cannot be sold, traded or moved to another account, and do not expire while your account exists. Monthly credits that come with a plan are added each month the plan is paid.

Payments. Xsolla (USA) Inc. is the merchant of record: you buy from Xsolla, under its terms, and Xsolla keeps your payment details; we never see your card. Prices are in US dollars.

Refunds. Because plans and credits are digital content delivered at once, you ask us to start delivering them right away when you pay. Where the law gives you a right to withdraw (for example in the EU and UK), you agree that it ends once the plan starts or the credits arrive. We still refund when the law requires it, when you were charged by mistake, or when something you paid for did not work. Write to us (section 15) or to Xsolla support. If a payment is refunded or reversed, we take back what it gave: the credits, or the plan.

8. Fair use

Limits (turns, drafts, pictures) exist to keep Lorica free and fast for everyone. Paid plans raise them; they are not unlimited. We may slow or pause use that looks automated or abusive.

9. Our service

Lorica, its design, code, name and logo, and the stories and characters Lorica writes belong to us. We keep improving Lorica, so features, AI models and limits can change; when a model is retired, your run moves to another and the story says so. We may pause the service for upgrades or problems. We may stop offering Lorica; if we do, we will tell you first, let you download what you made, and refund any plan time you already paid for.

10. Ending

You can stop using Lorica and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your account if you break these terms seriously or repeatedly, or if the law requires it. Sections 3 (for remixes already made), 7 (refunds), 11, 12, 13 and 14 still apply after the account ends.

11. No guarantees

Lorica is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we do not promise that it will always be available, error-free, or that the AI will write what you expect. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer law gives you and that cannot be waived.

12. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or unforeseeable losses, or for content made by other players or by the AI. Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US$50 if you paid nothing. We do not limit liability for death or injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not let us limit.

13. Disputes and governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Philippines, and its courts can hear any dispute about them. If you live in the EU, the UK or another place whose law gives you the right to use your local courts and consumer law, you keep that right. Please write to us first; most problems are solved quickly.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we tell you on the site or by email before it applies. If you keep using Lorica after it applies, you accept the new terms; if you do not agree, you can delete your account.
